How to get started ?
First of all, you need a blog; the first obvious step. So there are 2 ways of doing this:
1. You can either use existing sites such as Blogger to create your own blog. There are quite a few sites that allow you to use their infrastructure to create your own blog; I have found Blogger to be the most useful one.
2. You can get your own domain and set up a blog structure on that site. This option is slightly more complicated, but it depends on your desires and intentions. The steps that you will need to do this are:
a) Buy your own domain
b) Buy hosting on a server
c) Setup a blogging software such as Wordpress or Movable Type on that system
d) Select the template you need
e) Start blogging
There is a tremendous discussion of these options on the internet, so there is no acknowledged better option. The effort involved in getting your own system is more, but it is then your own domain, with more control.
